Rebecca Harper

My career as a financial professional began in 1977. Driven by a strong desire to assist individuals in making well informed and thoughtful monetary choices is what first attracted me to the financial services industry. That desire is what has kept me motivated throughout my career. I work to help clients protect themselves, their families, and their businesses from the unexpected turns that life can often take, and give them the guidance necessary to plan for a solid financial future.

Whether you are interested in protection for your family, education funding for your children, a sound retirement, or the growth of your business, I can offer personalized guidance for each unique situation. I am a Retirement Planning Specialist with over 40 years of experience in providing financial advice to individuals like yourself.

I have earned a Certificate in Retirement Planning from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  The Wharton School is recognized around the world for its academic excellence at every level of business education.  The certificate curriculum was developed for financial professionals to provide a higher level of preparation and knowledge to best serve the retirement planning needs of their valued clients.  This course of intensive study is taught by Wharton School faculty members. After completion of the initial program in May of 2004, I continue to attend an annual At Retirement forum featuring Wharton faculty and industry experts to further continue my retirement education.

In addition to The Wharton School, I participate in the Equitable Advisors Institute Program hosted by the Harvard Faculty Club at Harvard University.  The Institute Program offers

sessions focused on the latest research and practices of experts from leading academic and financial communities.  The program provides a deeper understanding of asset allocation, wealth advisor strategies, portfolio management and effective client relationship systems.

Retirement planning has changed immensely in recent years resulting in the need for a financial professional who can thoroughly explain the many options available.  Distribution planning has become much more critical as retirement years are often equivalent to the number of years spent working.  To ensure that your retirement monies last, proper planning of retirement money distribution has become increasingly critical.  In planning a client’s retirement strategy, I strive to maximize tax efficiency during the accumulation and preservation phases, and take into account income considerations during the distribution phase, providing a comprehensive approach to your retirement planning needs.

If you have questions or are ready to take a fully customized approach to planning for your financial future, please feel free to contact me at (916) 614-7637 or  I am eager to assist you in achieving your financial goals.
